About

After the first wave of COVID-19, Former Coda Reactor Lead Guitarist Rob Atayde decided he wanted a good ol' fashioned Rock n' Roll band with a little bit of a punk rock attitude. Enlisting the crunchy bass skills of colleague Scott Jones and the versatile drumming of Mike Jones, Grahzny was born out of the ashes of a previous project that Rob fronted years ago. Unsatisfied with the previous work, Rob got started on a whole new set of songs in a style unlike the previous project. The result: Grahzny. A name with a gritty definition well suited for the stylistic approach to the San Diego Punk and Rock n' Roll scene. Consisting of simple yet many unpredictable musical twists and turns and vocalistic patterns, the band provides variety while remaining true to the heart of the Rock sound. With one album released, another finished and awaiting public release and a third one already in the works, odds are you won't have to wait too long to hear new tracks, although it has been reported that many seem to never tire of the songs currently available to the world. If you have 25 minutes, check out the full "Get Off My Lawn" album. You won't be disappointed.
